OMRE vs Cata-Kor Which is better?
Written & fact checked by
Is it Better to Take NAD or a Precursor like NMN
Is Liposomal Form Better?
Why 500mg NMN
Why 500mg Micronized Resveratrol?
The Bottom Line
Cata-Kor is a viral NAD brand that’s gained huge popularity on TikTok.
With all the buzz, many people have asked me how it compares to OMRE’s NMN + Resveratrol. Below, I’ll break down the key differences so you can make an informed decision about which product is right for you.
Is it Better to Take NAD or a Precursor Like NMN?
All the scientific studies so far have been done on precursors like NMN and NR — not on taking NAD itself. That’s because NAD as a molecule is too large to pass through cell membranes. Scientists know this, which is why they use smaller building blocks like NMN or NR that your cells can easily absorb and convert into NAD+.
Is Liposomal Form Better?
Some brands use liposomal delivery and suggest it’s superior.
But here’s the truth:
There are no published human studies on liposomal NAD, NMN, or NR.
Liposomes are typically used to encapsulate fat-soluble molecules (like vitamins A, D, E, K).
NAD, NMN, and NR are all water-soluble, which means they already absorb well without needing liposomes.
How We’ve Formulated OMRE
At OMRE, we’ve built our NMN + Resveratrol formula based on published research studies. As a physician, it’s extremely important to me that what we provide to our customers is proven to work.
Why 500mg NMN?
We use 500mg of ultra-pure NMN. Human studies show that doses from 250mg upwards can effectively boost NAD+ levels. Since NMN is water-soluble, absorption is excellent without needing liposomes.
Why 500mg Micronized Resveratrol?
Resveratrol is fat-soluble, which makes absorption more difficult. That’s why we’ve chosen a micronized form, designed to improve uptake. We also use a dose that’s been shown in studies to be beneficial: 500mg vs. 50mg in Cata-Kor — a 10x difference.
The Bottom Line
Both OMRE and Cata-Kor are made in the USA and third-party tested, which ensures quality. The main difference comes down to formulation:
Cata-Kor uses liposomal NAD, which is a newer approach but hasn’t yet been studied in humans.
OMRE is built on the research available today — using NMN, a well-studied precursor, alongside a clinically relevant dose of micronized Resveratrol.
"I’ve personally formulated OMRE to be grounded in published human research. Liposomal NAD may turn out to be effective, but right now we simply don’t have the data to support it. That’s why I’ve chosen ingredients that are already backed by solid science."

OMRE NMN + Resveratrol
500mg of ultra-pure NMN, with independent batch testing showing 99.4%–99.7% purity.
500mg of micronized Resveratrol, a plant-based antioxidant found in grapes and the active compound in red wine. Resveratrol activates SIRT1, a longevity protein that further stimulates NAD+ production.
Together, this combination doesn’t just supply the best precursor — it also encourages your cells to make more NAD+ naturally.
